About the event
Our Grow Your Own Academy is a space that allows our network of growers to connect and exchange information. Free Haven Farms will lead weekly meetings where we will discuss several aspects of growing food. We'll cover growing techniques, agricultural science, as well as current events and even cooking demonstrations. We know that growing food is about more than just planting seeds and watering. It's about politics, food access, economics, environmental justice, innovation, and so much more.
We're re-launching our GYO Academy to operate on a Pay What You Can system. We realize that thse are tough economic times and not everyone can afford to pay a monthly fee to access our classes.
